Partnership Further Expands Access to Women’s Breast Health Services in the Lower Rio Grande Valley

Effective July 21, 2025, The Breast Imaging Center of Excellence at Valley Regional Medical Center will operate as Solis Mammography, a department of Valley Regional Medical Center. The partnership will combine the best of HCA Healthcare’s distinguished clinical reputation with Solis Mammography’s comprehensive approach to breast health that has made it the provider of choice for generations of women. Solis Mammography has been dedicated to the early detection of breast cancer for nearly 40 years, serving millions of women in more than 150 communities across the country. Patients in the Brownsville and lower Rio Grande Valley communities will immediately be able to experience the latest in innovative technology, including the integration of groundbreaking AI software with 3D mammography for greater accuracy and earlier-stage cancer detection. In addition, the center will offer easy online scheduling, fast results and even faster appointments, making mammograms more convenient for patients.
