Solis Mammography Continues Growth in North Carolina With New Apex Center

New Center Further Expands Access to Women’s Breast Health Services In Raleigh-Durham.

ADDISON, TX, Dec. 1, 2025 – Solis Mammography, the nation’s largest independent provider of specialized breast health services, has announced the opening of its newest center in Apex, North Carolina. The new center is Solis Mammography’s second center in the region and the sixth in North Carolina. With additional centers coming to Raleigh and Durham in the coming months, Solis Mammography is committed to providing more access to breast health services to the women of North Carolina.

Solis Mammography has been dedicated to the early detection of breast cancer for nearly 40 years, serving millions of women in more than 150 communities across the country, and now brings its comprehensive approach to breast health to the Apex community.

The new center, conveniently located in the Olive Chapel Village, offers the latest in innovative technology, including the integration of AI software with 3D mammography for greater accuracy and earlier-stage cancer detection. Apex patients will experience a more comfortable mammogram with SmartCurve, a signature curved paddle shaped to match the shape of a women’s breast, that lessens the force of compression while maximizing comfort.

In addition, patients can opt-in to Mammo+Heart at the time of their appointment to receive insight into their heart health in parallel with their screening mammogram. Mammo+Heart detects breast arterial calcification, which has been linked to an increased risk for cardiovascular disease in women.

Along with a team of compassionate and experienced breast health specialists, patients will experience a center environment designed with comfort in mind, fast appointments and results in as soon as two to three business days. Patients can easily schedule screening mammograms online without a doctor’s order.
