Let’s face it. No one really wants to get a mammogram. What women want is to know that they are healthy and “all clear for another year.”  For those who discover an issue, early detection is key. Countless healthcare and non-profit organizations have done a great job at educating women about the importance of annual screening.  And yet, of those who have health insurance, only 51percent of women over 40 get their annual mammogram.  At Solis Mammography, we wanted to understand why, and see if we could rebuild our practice to change this pattern.
