Solis Opens Two Centers in Greater Nashville
Expanding Access to 3D Mammography Integrated with Curved Comfort Technology
Nashville, TN. (November 14 , 2019) – Solis Mammography, the nation’s largest independent provider of breast screening and diagnostic services, in partnership with HCA TriStar Health, is pleased to expand access to 3D mammography screening with the opening of two new centers in the greater Nashville area.
These two new locations, Solis Mammography, a department of TriStar Skyline Medical Center and Solis Mammography, a department of TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center, offer 3D technology for diagnostic and screening mammograms. 3D mammography is the most advanced screening tool available today and increases invasive breast cancer detection by 54 percent.
A new curved comfort technology, which provides a more comfortable mammogram, has been integrated with 3D at both new centers. With a curved surface, this revolutionary new mammogram has been clinically proven to deliver greater comfort for 93 percent of patients who’ve experienced discomfort with standard mammograms.
These new breast health centers provide a full array of services, including screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, stereotactic breast biopsy, ultrasound-guided biopsy and bone density screening in a spa-like environment designed for patients’ comfort and convenience.
Solis Mammography offers real-time online scheduling (24/7), quick in-center tablet registration and emailed results, typically within 24 to 48 hours, for screening mammograms. Annual screening mammograms may be scheduled without a doctor’s order.
