ADDISON, TEXAS (Nov. 1, 2014) — Dr. Stephen Rose, Medical Director of Solis Mammography, co-authors Scientific Paper of the Year: Breast Cancer Screening Using Tomosynthesis in Combination with Digital Mammography, Journal of the American Medical Association, June 25, 2014.
The original study was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, one of the most prestigious peer-reviewed journals in the world.
The paper's findings state: 3D technology increased early detection by 29 percent while reducing recalls by 15 percent, echoing previous studies on tomosynthesis.
