DFW-Area Team Members Support Plano Race for the CureJune 19, 2015< Back To News
ADDISON, TEXAS (June 19, 2015) — Twenty-five team members from Solis Mammography in the North Texas area were among the thousands that packed the streets for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Plano, Texas, on Saturday, June 13. The Solis Team, named ‘Best Team Under The Sun’, spent the weeks leading up to the event collecting donations from family and friends to benefit the charity’s breast health education and research programs.
“We were proud to be among the members of the community who are as passionate about breast health as we are,” said Connie Oliver, Solis team member.
Brady Briscoe, operations analyst for Solis, was especially touched when a breast cancer survivor walking in the race approached him and said how Solis Mammography had helped her through her diagnosis. “She was extremely complimentary of Solis and the experience she had working with our team,” says Brady. “It made me all the prouder to be there, and to represent our team for this important cause.”
