Sri Yalamanchili, MD
Radiologist

Dr. Yalamanchili is a board-certified, dual-fellowship trained radiologist who grew up in Princeton, New Jersey and earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Rochester. She continued her education in upstate New York and subsequently earned her medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. Dr. Yalamanchili then moved to Austin, Texas to complete her internship year at Brackenridge Hospital and Children's Hospital of Austin. She then returned to the northeast to complete a diagnostic radiology residency at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center/Columbia University Hospital of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City followed by a one-year fellowship in Body and Cardiac MRI at New York University Langone Medical Center. During this time, she presented two papers at the ISMRM conference in Stockholm, Sweden, on the role of  MR enterography in the evaluation of Crohn’s disease, as well as Functional MRI evaluation of the uterus.

Having loved living in Texas during her internship year, Dr. Yalamanchili happily returned to Houston with her family to sub specialize in breast imaging, and completed a one-year fellowship in Breast Imaging at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.  During her fellowship she was able to continue her MRI pursuits by working on a presentation on the role of MRI in the staging of non calcified DCIS. This was subsequently presented at collaborative symposium at RSNA. She is very excited to have joined Rose Imaging Specialists and looks forward to working with the many wonderful communities served by this group, and furthering the group’s mission towards service and education about breast health.
