Management

Latessa Clark, Regional Director - Dallas/Fort Worth, TX

Latessa Clark is the Regional Director for Bedford, Alliance, Arlington, Southlake and Las Colinas.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Mississippi Valley State University and an Associate in Radiography Technology from Mississippi Delta Community College.  She has been working in the field of Mammography since 1998.  She was inspired to perform mammograms after a close friend of the family was diagnosed with breast cancer.


Michelle Benami, Regional Director - North Texas

Michelle is the Regional Director for the North Texas region. She is a passionate advocate for mammography and women’s healthcare. Michelle believes every woman should have access to expert mammography and compassionate, confident care during their experience. She graduated with an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from Tarrant County College in 1991 and has additional education in business and quality management. Michelle became registered in Mammography in 1993 and Quality Management in 1999. She has held a variety of roles within many spheres of breast imaging including managing a successful hospital-based breast center in Denver, Colorado, teaching mammography as a Clinical Coordinator, and managing Quality Assurance programs. She joined Solis in 2004 as a Patient Care Coordinator. Michelle is also a painter and abstract artist, and hopes to utilize her skills in helping breast cancer patients find hope and healing through art expression. She lives in Fort Worth with her husband and children, and also enjoys cooking, reading great books, and cheering at her sons’ football games.


Diana Von Voigt, Center Director - Columbus, OH

Diana Von Voigt is the Solis Center Director for our two centers in Columbus, Ohio.  Diana graduated in 1979 with an Associate’s Degree of Science in the field of Radiology and was a pioneer in the early use of ultrasound for breast imaging.  Before embarking solely into Mammography, Diana spent 7 years working in Radiation Therapy where, “The value of the human spirit was brought to life.” 

For the last 26 years, Diana has focused her career in Mammography as both technologist and manager.  The desire to work in mammography was driven by the technical advancements in the field and the drive for earlier and earlier detection.  “Finding the cure for cancer would be optimal, but until that time comes, I will take pride in working in a facility that provides the most up to date technology and a desire to make the patient's experience a memorable one.”


Cheryl Coxwell, Center Director - McKinney & Paris Texas

Cheryl Coxwell is a Center Director in the North Texas region, responsible for overseeing the Solis centers in Paris and McKinney. Backed by 28 years of imaging experience, Cheryl brings a wealth of experience to her role with Solis.

Since 2001, Cheryl has been a loyal team member devoted to women’s imaging through Medical Center of McKinney. Cheryl began there as a highly respected lead technologist, defining her role as leader and mentor to those in her department.  In July 2014, she joined the Solis team and was quickly promoted to Center Director in McKinney, less than a year later in March 2015.

Cheryl is the mother of 2 terrific children and an avid supporter of her daughter’s softball career.


Rhonda McKithern, Center Director - Houston Region

Born and raised in Houston, Rhonda is the Center Director for our four centers there including North Loop West, Westchase, Katy, and Sugar Land. Having joined our team almost a year ago, Rhonda is working hard to help build business in this new market for Solis Mammography. Rhonda is a graduate of Lonestar Community College and the Memorial Hermann School of Radiologic and Mammography Technology with more than 10 years of clinical experience. Her prior management experience includes serving as the supervising technologist for Greater Houston Physicians Medical Association and Cancer Center, and as Clinical Manager for Memorial Hermann Breast Center of The Woodlands.

 


Andrea Saenz, Center Director - Burleson, Baylor All Saints & Timothy Freer

Andrea is the Center Director of the Burleson, and Baylor All Saints locations in Fort Worth.  She graduated from the Hendrick Medical Center School of Radiography in Abilene, Texas in 1994.  She has been with Solis Mammography since 2007.  She lives in Aledo and loves spending time with her husband and her son.


Kellen Peterson, Center Director - Weatherford & Granbury

Kellen is the Center Director for the Weatherford and Granbury locations.  Kellen has been with Solis for seven years as a mammographer and breast sonographer.  She graduated from Weatherford College with her Associates of Science in 2008.  Kellen is a strong believer in early detection, as her mother and aunt are breast cancer survivors.  Kellen loves to spend time with her 3 handsome boys and a wonderful husband.  They love to be with nature in the great woods of Minnesota, or hitting the golf course as much as possible.


Mattie Hartman, Center Director - Denton, TX

Mattie Hartman is Center Director in Denton, Texas.   Mattie has been with Solis for 10 years, starting as a mammography tech in Denton in 2005.  She advanced through her career at the Denton center, moving into a Lead Tech role in 2014 and serving as Interim Director beginning December 2015. 

Mattie is a graduate of Midwestern State University, receiving her associates degree in 2005.  She’s been married to husband Craig for 10 years and together they have two children – a boy and a girl.  Her hobbies include photography and watching her children play sports. 


Isela Lopez, Center Director - Frisco, TX

Isela Lopez is  Center Director for the Frisco location. Before starting her career in Women's Imaging, she worked in the credit card department for a credit union in El Paso, TX. She received her Associates degree in Radiologic Technology from New Mexico State University in 2007. She moved to Dallas in 2008 where she began her mammography career. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and 2 Yorkies. 


Norma Rodriguez, Center Director - Greensboro

Norma Rodriguez is the Center Director in Greensboro, NC. 

Norma joined the US Air Force in 1982 and retired from the Air Force in 2006 as a  Medical Group Education and Training Manager. Norma trained as a mammographer in 1989 and became registered in 1991.  In 2003, she earned the Chief Zembrod Senior Radiology Manager of the Year, Pacific Region. After retirement from the military, she dedicated herself to working as a Mammography Technologist for Medical Imaging of Manhattan and Weill Cornell At New York Presbyterian.  She also worked as a contract employee for Devicor (Mammotome) Medical Devices as a Clinical Applications Specialist providing training and troubleshooting support for Mammotome vacuum assisted breast biopsy devices.

Norma has an AAS in Radiology from Community College of the Air Force, a dual major- BA Health Care Admin and BS in Computer Information Systems from Saint Leo College and an MA in Administrative Management/Public Administration from the  University of Maryland, University College - Bowie State.

Norma is married, with three children and three dogs.


Sharon Santiago, R.T. (R) (M), Center Director - Central Plano & Garland

Sharon is the Center Director for Central Plano and Garland locations.  Her prior experience includes serving as a mammographer and ultrasonographer for Medical Center of McKinney. She joined Solis in April 2014 as a Lead Tech at our Las Colinas center. Sharon received her Associates Degree from Keiser University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and originally hails from Puerto Rico.  She has 2 kids (one boy and one girl) and has been married for 21 years to husband, Pedro. In her spare time, she enjoys reading music, and camping. 


Serena Perez, Center Director - Medical City Dallas

Serena Perez, current Center Director at our Medical City Dallas, began her working for Solis Mammography in 2014 as the Lead Mammography Technologist at our Las Colinas location. A Texas native raised in the Dallas area; she began her career in breast imaging in 2002. Since then, Serena has obtained a Master’s Degree as well as certifications in mammography and breast sonography from Texas A&M Commerce.  In 2014, she was recognized by the Mayor of Dallas as being a Top 25 Radiologic Technologist from the North Texas Society of Radiologic Technologists.  She has also received numerous awards for her exemplary customer service.  Her kind spirit and ambitious attitude drive her success.
 

Serena is most passionate about taking great care of her patients and enjoys volunteering in her community.

Executives

James Polfreman, Chief Executive Officer

James brings a unique blend of skill, experience and compassion to Solis Mammography. His primary responsibility is to ensure that Solis Mammography delivers on its ‘Peace of Mind’ promise to provide women with the most accurate, patient-focused and compassionate breast screening and diagnostics achievable. 

Prior to accepting the position of Chief Executive Officer at Solis, James served as CEO of Memorial Hermann Hospital’s Retail Healthcare Business from 2004-2011. He was responsible for all business aspects of 28 outpatient imaging centers, 27 physical therapy centers, 20 ambulatory surgical centers, and 37 outreach lab facilities.

Earlier in his career, James held the position of Vice President of Operations for River Oaks Imaging and Diagnostics located in Houston, Texas from 2001-2003.  He was ultimately responsible for the overall operation, profitability and strategic growth of the largest independently owned freestanding imaging company in Houston over a period of three years.

James received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Engineering from the University of Natal in South Africa. He also earned a Master’s Degree in Finance from the Bauer College at the University of Houston.

James is an avid rugby fan along with pursuing interests in saltwater fishing and international travel.


Ted Bucknam, Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer, Ted Bucknam brings a wealth of operational expertise to the Solis team. With a solid reputation for collaborative leadership, customer loyalty, employee engagement, and continuous improvement, Ted is a welcome addition to our fast-growing organization.

Prior to joining Solis, Ted spent more than 20 years with Concentra, most recently serving as the company's Chief Operating Officer from 2011-2013 and President from 2013-2015. Ted has also held positions with Medicus Systems Corporation where he was responsible for the company's strategic initiatives supporting investor relations, product management, and outside sales.

He earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Bates College and MBA and Master of Health Services Administration degrees from the University of Michigan.

Ted is married and has two daughters.


Duleep Wikramanayake, Chief Information Officer

Duleep Wikramanayake, Chief Information Officer,  brings more than 20 years of IT systems experience to the Solis team.  He has a broad range of expertise in emerging technologies, and is a leader in strategic direction and implementation of large-scale imaging informatics and systems interoperability.  Recently relocating from Seattle, Duleep is now based out of the Addison office, and will be working with the entire IT team at Solis including those in Addison, TX and Fairfax, VA (WRA.)  Duleep’s in-depth systems experience and leadership strength will be critical as we launch and scale our technology platform to support our growing infrastructure needs.
 
Duleep, a native of Sri Lanka, is an exercise enthusiast who enjoys riding motorcycles and traveling. He has been happily married to wife Andrea for 23 years and together, they have two children.
 

Stephen Rose M.D., Chief Medical Officer

Stephen L. Rose, M.D., joined Solis Mammography as its Chief Medical Officer in April of 2014. Dr. Rose is responsible for clinical quality, clinical research, and leadership of Solis' breast radiologists. Dr. Rose serves as a spokesperson for the company regarding clinical quality and plays a key role in the strategic growth of the company.

Dr. Rose is also the Founder and President of Rose Imaging Specialists, P.A., the nation's largest group of breast imaging specialists. Dr. Rose is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. His residency in Diagnostic Radiology was completed at the University of Texas at Houston, including training at M.D. Anderson, Texas Children’s Hospital Memorial Hermann Health System and St. Joseph’s Hospital of Houston, Texas. He is a board-certified, nationally renowned breast radiologist, and has dedicated his practice to the diagnosis of early breast cancer for almost two decades.

Dr. Rose was on the forefront of the implementation of state-of-the-art breast ultrasound and stereotactic biopsies. He has received the “Susan G. Komen & BMW Ultimate Drive Hero", and was featured in Smithsonian Magazine in 2000. Dr. Rose also received “Physician of the Year” from Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in 2007.

Recently, Dr. Rose was part of the multi-center national trial investigating an exciting new technology - digital breast tomosynthesis (3D mammography). Today he is considered one of the nation's leading experts regarding this technology. Dr. Rose has been in private practice since 1986.


Michael Bennett, Chief Development Officer

As Chief Development Officer, Michael assumes responsibility for driving the company’s national expansion efforts through acquisitions, de novo centers and hospital joint ventures. Michael is an accomplished business development strategist with extensive experience in strategic account management for firms in the healthcare industry. Most recently, he served as business development officer for Invivo, a wholly owned subsidiary of Phillips Healthcare.

Michael graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.A. in business management. He has received numerous professional awards, including the 2014 Account Manager of the Year and 2013 Presidents Award for overall revenue production.


Connie Oliver, Vice President of Marketing and Client Relations

As Vice President of Marketing and Client Relations, Connie is responsible for advancing Solis’ message to consumers and referring physicians, as well as all aspects of marketing and client relations, including branding, advertising, public relations, and social media efforts. Additionally, she supports Solis through strategic market planning and execution of campaigns designed to further growth.

Prior to joining Solis, Connie served as Vice President of Corporate Communications for Centex Construction Group, later acquired to become Balfour Beatty Construction Services U.S. in Dallas, Texas.  In this role, she directed all internal and external communications, rebranding campaigns, customer and employee engagement, social media efforts, and more. In her 17 years with the business, she supported its growth from $1.4 billion to $4.0 billion in annual revenue.  In addition, her strategic leadership and implementation of programs designed to engage and inspire a corporate culture led to the company’s listing on the FORTUNE 100 Best Places to Work list four years in a row.

Connie graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Finance and Business Management from the University of Maryland at College Park. She has received numerous industry awards for excellence in marketing, including two Hermes Platinum Awards, a MarCom Gold Award, and The Communicator Crystal Award.


DaWanda Nelson, Vice President of Operations

DaWanda brings more than 20 years of imaging operational experience to the Solis management team.  Most recently, she served as Regional Director of Operations for Memorial Hermann Medical Group in Houston, TX.  She moved into that position after a very successful tenure as the Chief Operating Officer of Outpatient Imaging, also at Memorial Hermann. 


Cathy Wilson, Vice President Operations - Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX

Cathy Wilson is the Vice President of all the Dallas/Fort Worth centers. She received her degree in Radiographic Science in 1991 and has been involved in breast imaging for 19 years. An Arizona native, Cathy relocated to Texas seven years ago with her husband and her two daughters.  The entire family feels Texas is definitely the place to be. She joined Solis Mammography in 2008. She is certified in mammography and breast ultrasound.  Cathy enjoys patient care and values the quality of the patient experience provided by Solis Mammography. Early detection has a special place in Cathy’s heart; she feels it saved her mother’s life.


Jason Pate, Vice President of Operations

Jason brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience to the Solis management team. Most recently, he served as Director of Operations for Mednax Medical Group, the nation’s leading provider of pediatric subspecialty care.

Prior to his role at Mednax, Jason served as the Director of Ancillary Services for CHRISTUS Spohn System where he completed a VP/COO twelve-month mentorship program and supervised the radiology departments, clinical labs, pathology departments, cardiac cath labs and the cardiopulmonary departments for three hospitals.

Jason also spent ten years in the United States Air Force where he worked as a microbiologist and subsequently trained as a cytotechnologist. He is board certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists in both fields.

He holds a Bachelor of Biology degree and earned his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Colorado.


Sean Barker, Vice President of Finance

Sean Barker joins the company with a broad base of experience in the healthcare industry. In his role, he will develop and manage the company’s accounting platform, focusing on process improvement and best practice development in the area of internal and external controls, financial reporting, regulatory compliance and fiscal policy.

Sean's experience includes service as assistant vice president of finance and administration for Concentra, a leading provider of employer-focused healthcare services. He graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in finance from the University of Illinois and is a licensed certified public accountant.


William Pruitt, Vice President of Sales

William brings over 20 years of sales and leadership experience, primarily in the pharmaceutical industry, to his role as Vice President of Sales at Solis. Prior to his work in the pharmaceutical industry, William proudly served as an officer in the U.S. Army. William’s leadership philosophy focuses on developing and executing a strategic vision, focused on driving sales and developing people. William graduated from Elon University with a B.S in business. He is married, has two daughters, and lives in Southlake, Texas.

Prior to joining Solis, Ted spent more than 20 years with Concentra, most recently serving as the company's Chief Operating Officer from 2011-2013 and President from 2013-2015. Ted has also held positions with Medicus Systems Corporation where he was responsible for the company's strategic initiatives supporting investor relations, product management, and outside sales.

He earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Bates College and MBA and Master of Health Services Administration degrees from the University of Michigan.

Ted is married and has two daughters.


Duleep Wikramanayake, Chief Information Officer

Duleep Wikramanayake, Chief Information Officer,  brings more than 20 years of IT systems experience to the Solis team.  He has a broad range of expertise in emerging technologies, and is a leader in strategic direction and implementation of large-scale imaging informatics and systems interoperability.  Recently relocating from Seattle, Duleep is now based out of the Addison office, and will be working with the entire IT team at Solis including those in Addison, TX and Fairfax, VA (WRA.)  Duleep’s in-depth systems experience and leadership strength will be critical as we launch and scale our technology platform to support our growing infrastructure needs.
 
Duleep, a native of Sri Lanka, is an exercise enthusiast who enjoys riding motorcycles and traveling. He has been happily married to wife Andrea for 23 years and together, they have two children.
 

Stephen Rose M.D., Chief Medical Officer

Stephen L. Rose, M.D., joined Solis Mammography as its Chief Medical Officer in April of 2014. Dr. Rose is responsible for clinical quality, clinical research, and leadership of Solis' breast radiologists. Dr. Rose serves as a spokesperson for the company regarding clinical quality and plays a key role in the strategic growth of the company.

Dr. Rose is also the Founder and President of Rose Imaging Specialists, P.A., the nation's largest group of breast imaging specialists. Dr. Rose is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. His residency in Diagnostic Radiology was completed at the University of Texas at Houston, including training at M.D. Anderson, Texas Children’s Hospital Memorial Hermann Health System and St. Joseph’s Hospital of Houston, Texas. He is a board-certified, nationally renowned breast radiologist, and has dedicated his practice to the diagnosis of early breast cancer for almost two decades.

Dr. Rose was on the forefront of the implementation of state-of-the-art breast ultrasound and stereotactic biopsies. He has received the “Susan G. Komen & BMW Ultimate Drive Hero", and was featured in Smithsonian Magazine in 2000. Dr. Rose also received “Physician of the Year” from Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in 2007.

Recently, Dr. Rose was part of the multi-center national trial investigating an exciting new technology - digital breast tomosynthesis (3D mammography). Today he is considered one of the nation's leading experts regarding this technology. Dr. Rose has been in private practice since 1986.


Michael Bennett, Chief Development Officer

As Chief Development Officer, Michael assumes responsibility for driving the company’s national expansion efforts through acquisitions, de novo centers and hospital joint ventures. Michael is an accomplished business development strategist with extensive experience in strategic account management for firms in the healthcare industry. Most recently, he served as business development officer for Invivo, a wholly owned subsidiary of Phillips Healthcare.

Michael graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.A. in business management. He has received numerous professional awards, including the 2014 Account Manager of the Year and 2013 Presidents Award for overall revenue production.


Connie Oliver, Vice President of Marketing and Client Relations

As Vice President of Marketing and Client Relations, Connie is responsible for advancing Solis’ message to consumers and referring physicians, as well as all aspects of marketing and client relations, including branding, advertising, public relations, and social media efforts. Additionally, she supports Solis through strategic market planning and execution of campaigns designed to further growth.

Prior to joining Solis, Connie served as Vice President of Corporate Communications for Centex Construction Group, later acquired to become Balfour Beatty Construction Services U.S. in Dallas, Texas.  In this role, she directed all internal and external communications, rebranding campaigns, customer and employee engagement, social media efforts, and more. In her 17 years with the business, she supported its growth from $1.4 billion to $4.0 billion in annual revenue.  In addition, her strategic leadership and implementation of programs designed to engage and inspire a corporate culture led to the company’s listing on the FORTUNE 100 Best Places to Work list four years in a row.

Connie graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Finance and Business Management from the University of Maryland at College Park. She has received numerous industry awards for excellence in marketing, including two Hermes Platinum Awards, a MarCom Gold Award, and The Communicator Crystal Award.


DaWanda Nelson, Vice President of Operations

DaWanda brings more than 20 years of imaging operational experience to the Solis management team.  Most recently, she served as Regional Director of Operations for Memorial Hermann Medical Group in Houston, TX.  She moved into that position after a very successful tenure as the Chief Operating Officer of Outpatient Imaging, also at Memorial Hermann. 


Cathy Wilson, Vice President Operations - Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX

Cathy Wilson is the Vice President of all the Dallas/Fort Worth centers. She received her degree in Radiographic Science in 1991 and has been involved in breast imaging for 19 years. An Arizona native, Cathy relocated to Texas seven years ago with her husband and her two daughters.  The entire family feels Texas is definitely the place to be. She joined Solis Mammography in 2008. She is certified in mammography and breast ultrasound.  Cathy enjoys patient care and values the quality of the patient experience provided by Solis Mammography. Early detection has a special place in Cathy’s heart; she feels it saved her mother’s life.


Jason Pate, Vice President of Operations

Jason brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience to the Solis management team. Most recently, he served as Director of Operations for Mednax Medical Group, the nation’s leading provider of pediatric subspecialty care.

Prior to his role at Mednax, Jason served as the Director of Ancillary Services for CHRISTUS Spohn System where he completed a VP/COO twelve-month mentorship program and supervised the radiology departments, clinical labs, pathology departments, cardiac cath labs and the cardiopulmonary departments for three hospitals.

Jason also spent ten years in the United States Air Force where he worked as a microbiologist and subsequently trained as a cytotechnologist. He is board certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists in both fields.

He holds a Bachelor of Biology degree and earned his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Colorado.


Sean Barker, Vice President of Finance

Sean Barker joins the company with a broad base of experience in the healthcare industry. In his role, he will develop and manage the company’s accounting platform, focusing on process improvement and best practice development in the area of internal and external controls, financial reporting, regulatory compliance and fiscal policy.

Sean's experience includes service as assistant vice president of finance and administration for Concentra, a leading provider of employer-focused healthcare services. He graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in finance from the University of Illinois and is a licensed certified public accountant.


William Pruitt, Vice President of Sales

William brings over 20 years of sales and leadership experience, primarily in the pharmaceutical industry, to his role as Vice President of Sales at Solis. Prior to his work in the pharmaceutical industry, William proudly served as an officer in the U.S. Army. William’s leadership philosophy focuses on developing and executing a strategic vision, focused on driving sales and developing people. William graduated from Elon University with a B.S in business. He is married, has two daughters, and lives in Southlake, Texas.
 
 

Radiologists

Stephanie Aymond, M.D.

Dr. Stephanie Aymond is a board-certified, breast-dedicated radiologist focused on offering patients the best possible experience. Dr. Aymond worked as the Assistant Professor of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center Dept. of Radiology from 2008 - 2013. She has spent time as Medical Director at Parkland Comprehensive Breast Center in Dallas, TX and most recently has been serving the North Texas community in her role as breast radiologist with Solis Mammography’s centers in Southlake and Denton South (formerly Breast Diagnostics of North Texas).

She received her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans in 2002 and completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital in 2007. She then completed a breast imaging fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL in 2008.


Margaret Bertrand, M.D.

Dr. Margaret Bertrand holds a Bachelors of Art in Biology from Cornell University. She earned her medical degree and went on to serve an internship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, in 1975. Dr. Bertrand completed her residency in radiology at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Bertrand opened her first facility in Greensboro focusing exclusively on breast health. She serves as Medical Director of Solis Mammography in Greensboro. 


Marian E. Bonner, M.D.

Dr. Marian Bonner received her BA in Psychobiology from Wellesley College in 1983. In 1987, she obtained her MD from Duke University School of Medicine and then completed a diagnostic radiology residency at New York University Medical Center in 1992. Dr. Bonner is board-certified and was an Ivor Fix Fellow in Breast Imaging at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami, Florida. She has many years of experience in the subspecialty of breast imaging. Prior to joining Rose Imaging Specialists, Dr. Bonner was an assistant professor of radiology at the University of Texas – Houston Health Science Center and director of the Memorial Hermann Breast Center.


Sarah Chandler, M.D.

Dr. Chandler graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with honors. She received a dual Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology and Psychology. Dr. Chandler continued her education at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School where she completed both her Doctor of Medicine degree and her Radiology residency. Dr. Chandler concluded her training at UT Southwestern by completing a Fellowship program in Breast Imaging, then serving an assistant instructor in that program.


Steven Clifford, M.D.

Dr. Steven J. Clifford was born on September 10, 1956, in Paris, Texas. He attended Texas Christian University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He served his radiology residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, where he was Chief Radiology Resident from 1984 to 1985. After completing his residency in 1985, he returned to Paris to practice medicine as a radiologist with his father, James L. Clifford, M.D., and his brother, Philip W. Clifford, M.D. Dr. Clifford has been certified by the American Board of Radiology since 1986. He is married and has four children.


Rick Cornella, M.D.

Dr. Rick Cornella received both his Bachelor of Arts in Zoology and his Doctors of Medicine from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed his residency in radiology at the Medical University of South Carolina, and served as Chief Resident from 1987 to 1988. Dr. Cornella has been in practice since 1988, with a concentration in mammography since 1991. 


Kandace Farmer, D.O.

Dr. Farmer holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and is a 1996 graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey and served a fellowship in Breast Imaging & Intervention at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions in Baltimore.


Thalia Bratton Forte, M.D.

Dr. Forte holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. A 1991 graduate from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, she completed her residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Following her residency, Dr. Forte served a Women’s Imaging fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.


Timothy Freer, M.D.

Dr. Freer holds a Bachelors of Science in Biology from University of Texas, Arlington and earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas in 1982. Dr. Freer founded Women’s Diagnostic in 1986, now known as Solis Mammography, and has dedicated his career to providing excellence in breast imaging to the women of Dallas /Fort Worth for more than 30 years.


Millicent Gentry, M.D.

After graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Smith College, Dr. Gentry earned her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University and then completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Maricopa Medical Center where she also served as chief resident. Dr. Gentry then finished a fellowship in breast imaging at the renowned Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. As an Arizona native, Dr. Gentry is honored to provide quality breast imaging to fellow Arizona women at a company committed to preserving women’s health.


Paula Sukkawala Gupta, M.D.

Dr. Gupta holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Texas at Austin. In 2004, she received her medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas where she also completed her residency program in 2009.  She has also served in the Breast Fellowship program at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.  Prior to joining Solis Mammography, Dr. Gupta served four years at UT Southwestern as an Assistant Professor in the Department Radiology. Dr. Gupta is a member of Rose Imaging Specialists.

 


Ashley Hawkins, M.D.

Dr. Ashley Hawkins holds a Bachelors of Art in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 2004.  After Dr. Hawkins' internship, she entered her radiology residency at Duke University Medical Center where she received her fellowship training in Breast Imaging and was awarded the prestigious Society of Breast Imaging Scholarship.


Mary F. Ice, M.D.

Dr. Mary F. Ice was born and raised in Puerto Rico; where she completed her degree in doctor of medicine as Magna Cum Laude at the University of Puerto Rico. Based on her bilingual skills, she chose to do her residency in Diagnostic Imaging here in Houston, at the University of Texas. During her time in residency, she realized the close contact with patients that Breast Imaging required and was subsequently drawn to continue a fellowship in this field. She finished her Breast Imaging fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2003. Dr. Ice has been in private practice since 2003 working as part of a team in a comprehensive breast center environment. 


David Johnston, M.D.

Dr. Johnston graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University and received his medical degree from University of Utah in 1999. He completed his radiology residency and breast imaging fellowship programs at the Mallinckodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis, Missouri. He is a member of numerous professional societies and was named a "Top Doc" in Fort Worth Texas Magazine in 2012 and 2013.


Connie Jones, M.D.

Dr. Connie Jones has dedicated her entire medical career to one thing, Breast Imaging. After completing her undergraduate degree in Biology at Wake Forrest University, Dr. Jones went to Medical School at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Upon graduating from UNC Medical School, Dr. Jones took her residency in Radiology at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. It was at UT Southwestern that Dr. Jones made the decision to specialize in Breast Imaging. Dr. Jones put off going into practice for an entire year to take additional intensive training in all areas of Breast Imaging. Michael J. Jubang, M.D.

Dr. Jubang received a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Dr. Jubang then went on to University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where he earned his M.D. degree. To continue his medical education, Dr. Jubang joined the radiology residency program at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Jubang decided to specialize in Breast Imaging, completing a Breast Imaging Fellowship at the Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.


Stacey C. Keel, M.D.

Dr. Keel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University. In 2007, Dr. Keel earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Dartmouth Medical School and then served as Chief Resident for the Department of Radiology at Stanford University Medical Center. Dr. Keel completed her Breast and Body fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center and today is a proud member of Rose Imaging Specialists. 


Martha McQuaid, M.D.

Dr. McQuaid holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas, Austin and is a 1992 graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. Dr. McQuaid completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at University of Tennessee before returning to Texas in 1996. Since that time, Dr. McQuaid has devoted her career to women’s imaging. Dr. McQuaid is a native Texan and is fluent in Spanish. Dr. McQuaid is a member of Rose Imaging Specialists.


Michele Miles, M.D.

Dr. Miles received her Bachelor of Science and completed medical school at Indiana University, where she received High Honors for academic achievement. Dr. Miles completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and in 1998, was a fellow at Susan G. Komen Breast Center at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Miles is a member of Rose Imaging Specialists.


Minh Nguyen, M.D.

Dr. Nguyen holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Texas, Austin and earned his medical degree in 1991 from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Dr Nguyen completed his residency at Baptist Medical Center of Oklahoma in 1995 and served a fellowship in Clinical Breast Radiology at the Susan G. Komen Breast Center at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Nguyen is a member of Rose Imaging Specialists.


Amy S. Nordmann, M.D.

Amy Nordmann, M.D. received a full-tuition scholarship from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She served as president of her medical school class and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She was also a former All-American and NCAA champion volleyball player. Dr. Nordmann completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, becoming board certified in 2004. Dr. Nordmann pursued fellowship training in Breast Imaging and served as Clinical Instructor at the Washington University School of Medicine/MIR for two years before joining Rose Imaging Specialists, P.A. in the spring of 2007. Dr. Nordmann was the featured radiologist in the September/October 2007 issue of the American College of Radiology’s ACR bulletin newsletter. 


Melissa O'Toole, M.D.

Dr. O’Toole graduated from Stanford University with a BA in Human Biology. She obtained her MD from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston where she also completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology, serving as Chief Resident during her senior year of residency. She completed a fellowship in Breast Imaging at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and has been board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology since 2001.

Russell Sexton, Jr., D.O.

Dr. Sexton is a board-certified, breast imaging specialist with a public health background.He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Public Health Science from the Johns Hopkins University and served as an epidemiologist at both the Centers for Disease Control and the State of Georgia Division of Public Health in Atlanta. He earned his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University's Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and served at Chief Resident in Diagnostic Radiology at Mount Sinai Miami Beach Florida. He is dedicated to advancing the early detection and treatment of breast cancer.


Anupama Shultz, M.D.

Dr. Shultz is a board-certified radiologist and fellowship trained breast imaging specialist.  She received her medical degree from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2001, where she graduated with honors.  Dr. Shultz was contributing author of publications in myeloma and breast cancer research. While in medical school, Dr. Shultz was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor’s Society and recipient of the American Medical Women’s Association Janet M. Glasgow Achievement Citation.  Dr. Shultz went on to complete a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the University of Texas Southwestern/Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas in 2006, followed by a Breast Imaging Fellowship at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology/Washington University School of Medicine in 2007.  Dr. Shultz was in private practice prior to joining Rose Imaging Specialists in 2011.  Dr. Shultz feels privileged to join this group of esteemed colleagues that shares a passion for the early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer. 

 

 


Neha Sinha, M.D.

Dr. Neha Sinha is a board-certified, breast-dedicated radiologist.  She received a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. She then went on to earn her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center and completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology in New Jersey. She concluded her training by completing a fellowship in Breast Imaging at Baylor University Medical Center. Dr. Sinha is active in many professional organizations including the American College of Radiology, Society of Breast Imaging and the Society for the Advancement of Women Imaging.


Eric Solomon, M.D.

Dr. Solomon is a graduate of Cape Town University Medical School in Cape Town, South Africa. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio where he was Chief Resident. As an Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve and subsequently the University of Texas at Houston he specialized in body imaging and was a contributing author to textbooks on the subject. He was later affiliated with Baylor College of Radiology and became Radiology Department Chief at the VA Hospital Houston. His intense interest in Breast Imaging and Intervention became a full-time endeavor, and he joined Rose Imaging Specialists primarily because the group had established a reputation for excellence and compassion within the medical community. Dr. Solomon is board-certified and has practiced in Houston since 1981.


Rui Song, M.D.

Dr. Song is a board-certified radiologist with subspecialty expertise in Women’s Imaging. Her fellowship training includes MRI application in breast disease, imaging-guided procedures, breast ultrasound and mammography. She is interested in early detection of breast cancer. After graduating from the medical school at Case Western Reserve University, she completed her diagnostic radiology residency and Women's Imaging fellowship at Emory University Hospital. Dr. Song is an active member of the American College of Radiology and Radiological Society of North America. Her personal interests include outdoor activities, classic music, and spending time with her families and friends.

 

 

 


Michele West, M.D.

Dr. West earned both her Bachelors of Science in Biology and her medical degree from the University of Missouri at Columbia. After completing her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Northwestern University Hospital in Chicago, Illinois in 1989, she completed a fellowship in Computed Tomography, Ultrasound and Magnetic Resonance Imaging at Georgetown University Hospital and The National Institutes of Health in Washington D.C. In 1991, she was an Assistant Professor of Radiology at The Johns Hopkins University Hospital. Dr. West joined BenOra Imaging in 1994.


Katherine Willer, Radiologist

With more than 12 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, Dr. Katherine Willer is a board-certified, breast fellowship trained radiologist who joined the Solis Mammography team in early 2016. Dr. Willer is a graduate of Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and from there, went on to complete her residency in diagnostic radiology at Doctors Hospital in Columbus. After her residency, she completed a fellowship in women’s imaging at The Medical College of Wisconsin. She is a former Professor at SUNY Upstate Medical University and most recently was affiliated with the University of Cincinnati Medical Center Dr. Willer is a contributing author of publications on radiology and a frequent lecturer on women’s imaging. She’s kept Columbus as her home base since 1990, where she currently lives with her husband, son, and step-daughter. Dr. Willer is an avid fan of travel and Buckeye football! Erin Winston, M.D.

Dr. Winston is a board-certified radiologist and breast imaging specialist. As a native Texan, she accomplished all of her medical training within the Lone Star State. Dr. Winston graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Austin Plan II Honors Program in 1999. She received her medical doctorate from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 2004 where she was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She went on to the University of Texas at Houston to fulfill her radiology residency. There, she developed a passion for women's health and a determination to fight breast cancer. After completing a dedicated breast imaging fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center, she joined Rose Imaging Specialists. Srigouri Yalamanchili , M.D.

Dr. Yalamanchili is a board-certified, dual-fellowship trained radiologist who grew up in Princeton, New Jersey and earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Rochester. She continued her education in upstate New York and subsequently earned her medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine.  Dr. Yalamanchili then moved to Austin, Texas to complete her internship year at Brackenridge Hospital and Children's Hospital of Austin.  She then returned to the northeast to complete a diagnostic radiology residency at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center/Columbia University Hospital of Physicians and Surgeons  in New York City followed by a one-year fellowship in Body and Cardiac MRI at New York University Langone Medical Center. During this time, she presented two papers at the ISMRM conference in Stockholm, Sweden, on the role of  MR enterography in the evaluation of Crohn’s disease, as well as Functional MRI evaluation of the uterus.   Having loved living in Texas during her internship year, Dr. Yalamanchili happily returned to Houston with her family to sub specialize in breast imaging, and completed a one-year fellowship in Breast Imaging at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.  During her fellowship she was able to continue her MRI pursuits by working on a presentation on the role of MRI in the staging of non calcified DCIS. This was subsequently presented at collaborative symposium at RSNA.   She is very excited to have joined Rose Imaging Specialists and looks forward to working with the many wonderful communities served by this group, and furthering the group’s mission towards service and education about breast health.


Stephanie Aymond, M.D.

Dr. Stephanie Aymond is a board-certified, breast-dedicated radiologist focused on offering patients the best possible experience. Dr. Aymond worked as the Assistant Professor of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center Dept. of Radiology from 2008 - 2013. She has spent time as Medical Director at Parkland Comprehensive Breast Center in Dallas, TX and most recently has been serving the North Texas community in her role as breast radiologist with Solis Mammography’s centers in Southlake and Denton South (formerly Breast Diagnostics of North Texas).

She received her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans in 2002 and completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital in 2007. She then completed a breast imaging fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL in 2008.


Margaret Bertrand, M.D.

Dr. Margaret Bertrand holds a Bachelors of Art in Biology from Cornell University. She earned her medical degree and went on to serve an internship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, in 1975. Dr. Bertrand completed her residency in radiology at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Bertrand opened her first facility in Greensboro focusing exclusively on breast health. She serves as Medical Director of Solis Mammography in Greensboro. 


Marian E. Bonner, M.D.

Dr. Marian Bonner received her BA in Psychobiology from Wellesley College in 1983. In 1987, she obtained her MD from Duke University School of Medicine and then completed a diagnostic radiology residency at New York University Medical Center in 1992. Dr. Bonner is board-certified and was an Ivor Fix Fellow in Breast Imaging at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami, Florida. She has many years of experience in the subspecialty of breast imaging. Prior to joining Rose Imaging Specialists, Dr. Bonner was an assistant professor of radiology at the University of Texas – Houston Health Science Center and director of the Memorial Hermann Breast Center.


Sarah Chandler, M.D.

Dr. Chandler graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with honors. She received a dual Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology and Psychology. Dr. Chandler continued her education at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School where she completed both her Doctor of Medicine degree and her Radiology residency. Dr. Chandler concluded her training at UT Southwestern by completing a Fellowship program in Breast Imaging, then serving an assistant instructor in that program.


Steven Clifford, M.D.

Dr. Steven J. Clifford was born on September 10, 1956, in Paris, Texas. He attended Texas Christian University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He served his radiology residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, where he was Chief Radiology Resident from 1984 to 1985. After completing his residency in 1985, he returned to Paris to practice medicine as a radiologist with his father, James L. Clifford, M.D., and his brother, Philip W. Clifford, M.D. Dr. Clifford has been certified by the American Board of Radiology since 1986. He is married and has four children.


Rick Cornella, M.D.

Dr. Rick Cornella received both his Bachelor of Arts in Zoology and his Doctors of Medicine from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed his residency in radiology at the Medical University of South Carolina, and served as Chief Resident from 1987 to 1988. Dr. Cornella has been in practice since 1988, with a concentration in mammography since 1991. 


Kandace Farmer, D.O.

Dr. Farmer holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and is a 1996 graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey and served a fellowship in Breast Imaging & Intervention at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions in Baltimore.


Thalia Bratton Forte, M.D.

Dr. Forte holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. A 1991 graduate from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, she completed her residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Following her residency, Dr. Forte served a Women’s Imaging fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.


Timothy Freer, M.D.

Dr. Freer holds a Bachelors of Science in Biology from University of Texas, Arlington and earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas in 1982. Dr. Freer founded Women’s Diagnostic in 1986, now known as Solis Mammography, and has dedicated his career to providing excellence in breast imaging to the women of Dallas /Fort Worth for more than 30 years.


Millicent Gentry, M.D.

After graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Smith College, Dr. Gentry earned her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University and then completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Maricopa Medical Center where she also served as chief resident. Dr. Gentry then finished a fellowship in breast imaging at the renowned Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. As an Arizona native, Dr. Gentry is honored to provide quality breast imaging to fellow Arizona women at a company committed to preserving women’s health.


Paula Sukkawala Gupta, M.D.

Dr. Gupta holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Texas at Austin. In 2004, she received her medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas where she also completed her residency program in 2009.  She has also served in the Breast Fellowship program at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.  Prior to joining Solis Mammography, Dr. Gupta served four years at UT Southwestern as an Assistant Professor in the Department Radiology. Dr. Gupta is a member of Rose Imaging Specialists.

 


Ashley Hawkins, M.D.

Dr. Ashley Hawkins holds a Bachelors of Art in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 2004.  After Dr. Hawkins' internship, she entered her radiology residency at Duke University Medical Center where she received her fellowship training in Breast Imaging and was awarded the prestigious Society of Breast Imaging Scholarship.


Mary F. Ice, M.D.

Dr. Mary F. Ice was born and raised in Puerto Rico; where she completed her degree in doctor of medicine as Magna Cum Laude at the University of Puerto Rico. Based on her bilingual skills, she chose to do her residency in Diagnostic Imaging here in Houston, at the University of Texas. During her time in residency, she realized the close contact with patients that Breast Imaging required and was subsequently drawn to continue a fellowship in this field. She finished her Breast Imaging fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2003. Dr. Ice has been in private practice since 2003 working as part of a team in a comprehensive breast center environment. 


David Johnston, M.D.

Dr. Johnston graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University and received his medical degree from University of Utah in 1999. He completed his radiology residency and breast imaging fellowship programs at the Mallinckodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis, Missouri. He is a member of numerous professional societies and was named a "Top Doc" in Fort Worth Texas Magazine in 2012 and 2013.


Connie Jones, M.D.

Dr. Connie Jones has dedicated her entire medical career to one thing, Breast Imaging. After completing her undergraduate degree in Biology at Wake Forrest University, Dr. Jones went to Medical School at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Upon graduating from UNC Medical School, Dr. Jones took her residency in Radiology at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. It was at UT Southwestern that Dr. Jones made the decision to specialize in Breast Imaging. Dr. Jones put off going into practice for an entire year to take additional intensive training in all areas of Breast Imaging. Dr. Jones has been in practice for 15 years as a Breast Imaging Specialist Radiologist. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Jones continues to teach, lecture, and serve on numerous committees to advance the science and personal side of Breast Imaging. For a more detailed bio of Dr. Jones, Click Here


Michael J. Jubang, M.D.

Dr. Jubang received a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Dr. Jubang then went on to University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where he earned his M.D. degree. To continue his medical education, Dr. Jubang joined the radiology residency program at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Jubang decided to specialize in Breast Imaging, completing a Breast Imaging Fellowship at the Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.


Stacey C. Keel, M.D.

Dr. Keel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University. In 2007, Dr. Keel earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Dartmouth Medical School and then served as Chief Resident for the Department of Radiology at Stanford University Medical Center. Dr. Keel completed her Breast and Body fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center and today is a proud member of Rose Imaging Specialists. 


Martha McQuaid, M.D.

Dr. McQuaid holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas, Austin and is a 1992 graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. Dr. McQuaid completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at University of Tennessee before returning to Texas in 1996. Since that time, Dr. McQuaid has devoted her career to women’s imaging. Dr. McQuaid is a native Texan and is fluent in Spanish. Dr. McQuaid is a member of Rose Imaging Specialists.


Michele Miles, M.D.

Dr. Miles received her Bachelor of Science and completed medical school at Indiana University, where she received High Honors for academic achievement. Dr. Miles completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and in 1998, was a fellow at Susan G. Komen Breast Center at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Miles is a member of Rose Imaging Specialists.


Minh Nguyen, M.D.

Dr. Nguyen holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Texas, Austin and earned his medical degree in 1991 from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Dr Nguyen completed his residency at Baptist Medical Center of Oklahoma in 1995 and served a fellowship in Clinical Breast Radiology at the Susan G. Komen Breast Center at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Nguyen is a member of Rose Imaging Specialists.


Amy S. Nordmann, M.D.

Amy Nordmann, M.D. received a full-tuition scholarship from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She served as president of her medical school class and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She was also a former All-American and NCAA champion volleyball player. Dr. Nordmann completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, becoming board certified in 2004. Dr. Nordmann pursued fellowship training in Breast Imaging and served as Clinical Instructor at the Washington University School of Medicine/MIR for two years before joining Rose Imaging Specialists, P.A. in the spring of 2007. Dr. Nordmann was the featured radiologist in the September/October 2007 issue of the American College of Radiology’s ACR bulletin newsletter. 


Melissa O'Toole, M.D.

Dr. O’Toole graduated from Stanford University with a BA in Human Biology. She obtained her MD from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston where she also completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology, serving as Chief Resident during her senior year of residency. She completed a fellowship in Breast Imaging at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and has been board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology since 2001.


Stephen Rose, M.D., Solis Chief Medical Officer

Stephen L. Rose, M.D., joined Solis Mammography as its Chief Medical Officer in April of 2014. Dr. Rose is responsible for clinical quality, clinical research, and leadership of Solis' breast radiologists. Dr. Rose serves as a spokesperson for the company regarding clinical quality and plays a key role in the strategic growth of the company.

Dr. Rose is also the Founder and President of Rose Imaging Specialists, P.A.,the nation's largest group of breast imaging specialists. Dr. Rose is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. His residency in Diagnostic Radiology was completed at the University of Texas at Houston, including training at M.D. Anderson, Texas Children’s Hospital Memorial Hermann Health System and St. Joseph’s Hospital of Houston, Texas. He is a board-certified, nationally renowned breast radiologist, and has dedicated his practice to the diagnosis of early breast cancer for almost two decades.

Dr. Rose was on the forefront of the implementation of state-of-the-art breast ultrasound and stereotactic biopsies. He has received the “Susan G. Komen & BMW Ultimate Drive Hero" and was featured in Smithsonian Magazine in 2000. Dr. Rose also received “Physician of the Year” from Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in 2007.

Recently, Dr. Rose was part of the multi-center national trial investigating - an exciting new technology - digital breast tomosynthesis (3D mammography). Today he is considered one of the nation's leading experts regarding this technology. Dr. Rose has been in private practice since 1986.


Russell Sexton, Jr., D.O.

Dr. Sexton is a board-certified, breast imaging specialist with a public health background.He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Public Health Science from the Johns Hopkins University and served as an epidemiologist at both the Centers for Disease Control and the State of Georgia Division of Public Health in Atlanta. He earned his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University's Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and served at Chief Resident in Diagnostic Radiology at Mount Sinai Miami Beach Florida. He is dedicated to advancing the early detection and treatment of breast cancer.


Anupama Shultz, M.D.

Dr. Shultz is a board-certified radiologist and fellowship trained breast imaging specialist.  She received her medical degree from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2001, where she graduated with honors.  Dr. Shultz was contributing author of publications in myeloma and breast cancer research. While in medical school, Dr. Shultz was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor’s Society and recipient of the American Medical Women’s Association Janet M. Glasgow Achievement Citation.  Dr. Shultz went on to complete a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the University of Texas Southwestern/Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas in 2006, followed by a Breast Imaging Fellowship at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology/Washington University School of Medicine in 2007.  Dr. Shultz was in private practice prior to joining Rose Imaging Specialists in 2011.  Dr. Shultz feels privileged to join this group of esteemed colleagues that shares a passion for the early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer. 

 

 


Neha Sinha, M.D.

Dr. Neha Sinha is a board-certified, breast-dedicated radiologist.  She received a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. She then went on to earn her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center and completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology in New Jersey. She concluded her training by completing a fellowship in Breast Imaging at Baylor University Medical Center. Dr. Sinha is active in many professional organizations including the American College of Radiology, Society of Breast Imaging and the Society for the Advancement of Women Imaging.


Eric Solomon, M.D.

Dr. Solomon is a graduate of Cape Town University Medical School in Cape Town, South Africa. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio where he was Chief Resident. As an Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve and subsequently the University of Texas at Houston he specialized in body imaging and was a contributing author to textbooks on the subject. He was later affiliated with Baylor College of Radiology and became Radiology Department Chief at the VA Hospital Houston. His intense interest in Breast Imaging and Intervention became a full-time endeavor, and he joined Rose Imaging Specialists primarily because the group had established a reputation for excellence and compassion within the medical community. Dr. Solomon is board-certified and has practiced in Houston since 1981.


Rui Song, M.D.

Dr. Song is a board-certified radiologist with subspecialty expertise in Women’s Imaging. Her fellowship training includes MRI application in breast disease, imaging-guided procedures, breast ultrasound and mammography. She is interested in early detection of breast cancer. After graduating from the medical school at Case Western Reserve University, she completed her diagnostic radiology residency and Women's Imaging fellowship at Emory University Hospital. Dr. Song is an active member of the American College of Radiology and Radiological Society of North America. Her personal interests include outdoor activities, classic music, and spending time with her families and friends.

 

 

 


Michele West, M.D.

Dr. West earned both her Bachelors of Science in Biology and her medical degree from the University of Missouri at Columbia. After completing her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Northwestern University Hospital in Chicago, Illinois in 1989, she completed a fellowship in Computed Tomography, Ultrasound and Magnetic Resonance Imaging at Georgetown University Hospital and The National Institutes of Health in Washington D.C. In 1991, she was an Assistant Professor of Radiology at The Johns Hopkins University Hospital. Dr. West joined BenOra Imaging in 1994.


Katherine Willer, Radiologist

With more than 12 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, Dr. Katherine Willer is a board-certified, breast fellowship trained radiologist who joined the Solis Mammography team in early 2016. Dr. Willer is a graduate of Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and from there, went on to complete her residency in diagnostic radiology at Doctors Hospital in Columbus. After her residency, she completed a fellowship in women’s imaging at The Medical College of Wisconsin. She is a former Professor at SUNY Upstate Medical University and most recently was affiliated with the University of Cincinnati Medical Center Dr. Willer is a contributing author of publications on radiology and a frequent lecturer on women’s imaging. She’s kept Columbus as her home base since 1990, where she currently lives with her husband, son, and step-daughter. Dr. Willer is an avid fan of travel and Buckeye football! Erin Winston, M.D.

Dr. Winston is a board-certified radiologist and breast imaging specialist. As a native Texan, she accomplished all of her medical training within the Lone Star State. Dr. Winston graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Austin Plan II Honors Program in 1999. She received her medical doctorate from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 2004 where she was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She went on to the University of Texas at Houston to fulfill her radiology residency. There, she developed a passion for women's health and a determination to fight breast cancer. After completing a dedicated breast imaging fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center, she joined Rose Imaging Specialists.
